The creation of the new RSPB reserve at Wallasea Island with the spoil from the Crossrail project is a fantastically exciting project, using millions of tons of clay tunnelled from under the city of London, to return farm land to it's original salt marshes, lagoons and lakes.

We are very excited to be involved in this long term project to show the development of the new reserve. The RSPB were quite specific in what they wanted to create, with the emphasis on industry returning to wildlife.
We faced the challenges of following barges up the Thames and filming closely the routines of the huge earth moving equipment.
